Jacksonville Business Journal Editor Timothy Gibbons recently sat down with with Jim Stallings, CEO of PS27, for a segment of the Florida Business Minds podcast.
Stallings founded venture capital firm PS27 in 2013, looking to invest in early-stage companies focused on fintech, health tech, e-commerce and software as a service. The firm was an early investor in OnPay Solutions, which was recently bought by Swedish multinational fintch company Medius, as well as other fast-growing companies. Last year, the VC launched the Rhea Fund, which concentrates on businesses founded by entrepreneurs of color, women and veterans.
Listen to hear what Stallings has to say about how PS27 picks its investments, where he sees the economy going and why founders matter more than ideas.
