With COVID-19 affecting so many families these days one company, FreshJax, has found a way to give back by donating 102,262 meals to kids in need.

FreshJax, an organic spice company based in Jacksonville has a mission to end childhood hunger. Founders Jason and Hillary McDonald have partnered with Hunger Fight, and have been able to make a difference by raising awareness and raising money for meals that feed hungry children.

“Today, we have donated over 100,000 meals to kids in need which puts us one step closer to our 1 million meal goal,” said Kayci Liphart, Marketing Leader at FreshJax. “Kids who rely on school meals are struggling now more than ever, we want to inspire people to get involved.”

FreshJax donates 1 meal for every spice gift set sold. Top sellers include their Smoked Gift Set that includes – Mesquite Lime, Grill Master, Smoked Cherrywood, Campfire, and Smokey Southwest. This unique gift will help Dads add some flavor to summer grilling cookouts. Another fan favorite is the FreshJax Organic Grilling Gift Set. Friends and family will enjoy Peppered Habanero on steak, Freshbay on shrimp, Citrus Pepper on grilled veggies, Grill Master on tasty juicy burgers, and Smokey Southwest on delicious grilled chicken.

“The packaging was awesome! I bought these as a Father’s Day gift for my dad who is an avid griller and smoker. All of the spice blends had a unique flavor that was very robust and distinct. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves working with herbs and spices and is an avid griller.” said Stephanie B., a FreshJax Customer.

FreshJax is currently looking for bloggers and influencers, who love cooking, to help spread the word and reach their goal for the kids. If you would like to order a gift set or get involved you can learn more at FreshJax.com or email Kayci Liphart at hello@freshjax.com.
