PS27 Foundation and Deloitte are excited to announce the 6th Annual Female Founders Forum hosted virtually on March 12th, 2021. Each year, the Female Founders Forum attracts women entrepreneurs and intrepreneurs from across the region who want to become better leaders and grow their businesses.
“America is currently experiencing what is said to be a “startup boom” and our hope is to connect women entrepreneurs with the skills, network, and resources they need to be a successful company,” said Shannon LoGiudice, Programs and Operations Director at PS27. The program is being expanded this year to reach audiences across the country because of the digital format, said LoGiudice, “We have entrepreneurs attending from all over the world.”
The half-day program will feature speakers who have started their own businesses, raised significant funds, and who want to give back to the early-stage startup community. The entrepreneur panel will include; Jonelle Toothman co-founder of NextGen Biologics, Lisa Bair founder of Quantivus, Sevetri Wilson founder of Resilia and moderated by Allie Felix of Tampa Bay Embarc collective.
“We are proud to be part of PS27’s Female Founders Forum in honor of International Women’s Day. While the number of women leaders in financial services has risen steadily in recent years, more progress is needed to achieve gender equity,” said Amy Kistka, Managing Director of Deloitte Jacksonville.
The goal of the annual forum is to attract and inspire more women to become better leaders and to build relationships with a community of female founders and innovators.
