Techstars Atlanta — the Southeast branch of Boulder-based Techstars, an international accelerator — is coming to Jacksonville to recruit for its next cohort.
It will be just the second class for Techstars Atlanta, and is being held in partnership with Cox Enterprises.
For the event, Techstars is partnering with PS27 Ventures to host scheduled office hours and a networking event. Jacksonville native and now Techstars Atlanta director Tyler Scriven will be in town to meet with local companies who are interested in applying for the program.
If interested in applying for the program, companies can request an appointment for office hours, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7.
Following that will be a networking event at 5:30 p.m., an info session at 6:15 p.m. and more networking following the Q&A.
The accelerator will be run in Atlanta at the Techstars Atlanta office in mid-July. It will be a three-month intensive program where participants will receive mentoring and guidance from entrepreneurs, subject matter experts, Cox employees and Techstar’s global network of more than 7,000.
Each company participating in the program received and investment of $120,000.
